Immigration Reform

Now that the energy bill, the highway bill, and CAFTA are on the books, Americans would like Congress to tackle illegal immigration.

Two major bills are before Congress now: one from John Cornyn (R)TX and Jon Kyl (R)AZ; the other from John McCain and Ted Kennedy.

Bush has proposed a guest-worker plan.

It's time to secure our borders, starting with the southern one.
