Senate hearings for Alito will begin Jan. 9, 2006 --
committee vote Jan. 17 --
full Senate vote Jan. 20.

Bush needs this confirmation victory by the time he delivers the State of the Union address.

Git R Done -- nuclear or otherwise.

The Dems are sure to be digging up anything that can be construed as "dirt" on Alito.
